About the BC Chapter of SFPE

The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) is an international professional society representing those practicing in the field of Fire Protection Engineering.

The BC Chapter of SFPE was established in 1978. It received SFPE's 30th charter for chapter organization. The chapter has approximately 125 members and chapter supporters.

The objective of the BC Chapter of SFPE is to advance the art and science of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members and to foster fire protection engineering education.

The primary activity of the chapter is monthly dinner meetings. Open to all chapter members chapter supporters and their guests.
