The Canadian Wood Council, the national association representing Canadian manufacturers of wood products used in building construction, seeks a highly motivated and skilled individual to advance the use of wood products as a state- of-the-art and fire-safe building material.

Morrison Hershfield Limited is looking for a Fire Protection Consultant in our Ottawa office. This role will be focused on the delivery of various fire protection projects, including fire and smoke modelling, evacuation modelling, alternative solutions and engineering judgments. This role will also apply Codes and Standards to support Code Consulting and Fire Protection System design projects. The position will involve the application of fundamental principles of fire dynamics, behaviour of materials in fire, and human behaviour in fire.
