BC SFPE Meeting Topic: Hybrid Water Mist Systems

Timothy Carman of Tyco Fire Suppression will give us a presentation on the new AUQASONIC hybrid water mist that uses nitrogen to atomize and discharge the water mist into the protected space. The presentation will review the basic fire principles of water mist, the appropriate uses and risks best protected with water mist, and will cover the technical details of the Auqasonic system.

The Pacific Northwest SFPE Chapter would like to extend our Golf Tournament invitation to the British Columbia Chapter. Below are the details. We hope that some of you can make it!

See below for the "official" registration sheet for our 10th Annual SFPE Golf Tournament which benefits our Kermit Gastfield Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $1,200 to a qualified and interested engineering student in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study. It is our way of helping to encourage development of future Fire Protection Engineers.
